June 23 2019 - SOS Children’s Villages organized and carried out an environment cleaning programme called ‘SOS Beach Clean-Up’ at the Mount Lavinia beach on this day. A kilometre’s stretch of the sandy beach was cleaned of all litter and waste.
March 17 2019 - A sports meet organized by the Divisional Secretariat Office in Bope Poddala took place on the 17th of March 2019, at which the children of SOS Children’s Villages Galle made big achievements.
February 4 2019 - SOS Children’s Villages Galle celebrated the 71st Independence Day with patriotism. Everyone at the village took part in the celebration. Guests in attendance were OIC of Child & Women Bureau, Galle and a teacher from Hapugala Primary College.
January 2 2019 - SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka successfully leveled up the bar in providing quality service to children in the village again. Sixteen SOS mothers entered the New Year refreshing new techniques, to skills that they have already mastered.
